CHICKEN OR TURKEY PIE | |
2 (9 inch) pie shells 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. chicken or turkey broth 2 1/2 c. cooked chicken or turkey, chopped 3 tbsp. butter Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of flour on bottom of pastry shell. Add chicken or turkey and butter. Then sprinkle remaining tablespoon of flour on top. Pour broth over entire pie. Cover with remaining pastry shell. Slit top and bake at 400-425 degrees 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool and cut into slices. You may cover with gravy and serve. Makes 8 slices. |
