BARBECUE DIP FOR CHICKEN 
1 qt. vinegar
1 pt. water (2 c.)
1 lb. melted butter or cooking oil
2 oz. salt
1/2 oz. Worcestershire sauce

Mix - heat - keep hot - mop chicken with this while cooking. Takes 1 1/2-2 hours for 6 to 8 chickens. Use tongs - don't pierce chicken, turn frequently.

RED SAUCE:

2 c. catsup
1 c. water
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. chili powder
Juice of 1 lemon

Apply 1/2 hour before done. Mop chicken and turn frequently. Makes 1 quart.
