BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 lbs. sirloin steak
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sliced mushrooms (fresh or drained)
2 cans beef broth
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. ketchup
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/3 c. flour
2 c. sour cream
Parsley flakes

Slice steak into 3 to 4 inch pieces. Brown steak and onion in butter. Add mushrooms, 1 can broth, ketchup, and garlic salt. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Blend 1 can broth and flavor. Stir into meat. Heat to boiling. Stir constantly and boil 1 minute. Stir in sour cream and parsley flakes. Serve warm over cooked rice or noodles.

Economy Note: Ground beef may be substituted for steak for "Hamburg Stroganoff".
