CAPTAIN'S SOUP | |
2 lbs. lean ground beef 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen mixed vegetables 1 (46 oz.) can V-8 juice 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup, undiluted 1/2 c. uncooked macaroni Salt & pepper to taste Brown ground beef and onion. Drain excess fat. Add undiluted soups and V-8 juice and blend. Add vegetables, macaroni, salt and pepper. Let come to a boil, stirring often. Cover and cook slowly 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Yield: 8 to 10 servings. |
