COUNTRY FRIED CHICKEN 
1/4 c. Puritan oil
2/3 c. all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (5.3 oz.) can skimmed evaporated milk
2 1/2 - 3 lb. broiler fryer chicken, cut up with skin removed

Heat oil in large skillet. Combine flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder and pepper in large plastic bag. Pour milk into shallow bowl. Dip chicken into milk and then shake in flour mixture to coat. Fry chicken in oil over moderate high heat 25 minutes or until near bone is no longer pink. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
