MIKE'S FINEST BARBECUE SAUCE 
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 tbsp. corn starch
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. orange liqueur

In a saucepan combine brown sugar, corn starch and chili powder. Stir in tomato sauce, vinegar, catsup, dark corn syrup, and 1/2 cup water. Bring mixture to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Stir in orange liqueur. Simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes more. Use with pork, beef, lamb or poultry. Makes 3 cups.
