BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
1 c. unsifted flour
1/4 lb. melted butter
1 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

FILLING:

2 eggs
1/2 lb. butter, softened
2 c. powdered sugar

TOPPING:

Sliced bananas
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 lg. container Cool Whip
Diced maraschino cherries
Chocolate syrup
Chopped nuts

Mix crust ingredients thoroughly. Spread in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool. Beat filling ingredients with electric mixer for 10-15 minutes. Pour over cooled crust. Slice bananas over top; cover bananas with drained pineapple; cover pineapple with Cool Whip. Sprinkle maraschino cherries, drizzle chocolate syrup and sprinkle chopped nuts over Cool Whip. Refrigerate at least overnight.
