1 stick butter
2 c. self-rising flour
1 box light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts

Melt butter in top of a double boiler. Add sugar and remove from heat. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Do not use electric mixer. Add flour, vanilla and nuts; mix well. Batter will be stiff. Pour into a greased 13x9x2 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cut into squares when cool.
