BRIDE'S DINNER 
5 slices day-old bread, cubed
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. grated onion
4 pork chops, 1 inch thick
4 med. baking apples
1/4 c. seedless raisins
4 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
4 med. sweet potatoes, pared
3 tbsp. butter, melted
Salt & pepper

Combine bread cubes, egg yolk, butter, seasonings and onion. Shape into 4 balls. Place chops in shallow baking pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place one ball of stuffing on each chop. Core apple, set on pan with chops. Combine raisins, sugar, cinnamon. Fill centers of apples. Roll sweet potatoes in melted butter; place in pan with chips, apples, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake 1 1/2 hours in moderate oven at 350 degrees. Makes 4 servings.
