CHOKECHERRY JELLY | |
Cover washed chokecherries with water and boil awhile. Drain off juice and cover with water again and boil until light colored. Drain again and mix the two juices together and bring to a boil. Can in quart jars. When you want to make the jelly, take 4 cups juice, 1 package Sure Jell and 5 cups sugar. Bring juice and Sure Jell to a boil and add sugar. Cook for 3 minutes. Put into jelly glasses; cover with paraffin. |
