REVELERS' PUNCH 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. rum
1/2 c. orange flavored liqueur
1 bottle (one fifth) Claret, chilled
1 bottle (one fifth) champagne, chilled
1 pt. club soda, chilled
Ice cubes, block, or ring
1/2 c. pineapple juice

In saucepan, stir together sugar and water. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until mixture boils and sugar dissolves. Cool. In punch bowl, stir together sugar mixture, orange, pineapple, and lemon juices. Stir in rum and orange liqueur. Add Claret and ice cubes, block or ring. Chill thoroughly. At serving time, add champagne and soda.
