MILLION DOLLAR POUND CAKE 
1 lb. butter, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix after each addition. Stir in flavorings. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes. Remove to wire rack. Cool.
