7-UP FROSTED SALAD 
2 (6 oz.) pkgs. lemon jello
2 c. boiling water
2 c. 7-UP
1 (#2) can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 c. miniature marshmallows
2 bananas, diced

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. whipping cream
1 c. pineapple juice
1 egg, beaten

Pour boiling water over jello. Add 7-UP and chill until partially set. Drain pineapple (save juice for topping). Fold pineapple, marshmallows and bananas into jello. Pour into 9x13 pan.

TOP: Beat egg; add sugar, flour and juice a little at a time. Cook over low heat until thick. Remove from heat; add butter and let cool. Chill. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over jello. Sprinkle top with 1/4 cup grated cheese.

This recipe is equally delicious with Mountain Dew in place of 7-UP.
