This is so easy and the crust comes out nice and crispy. I use two cans of peaches and add cinnamon and nutmeg.

I used (Cook 101) from Washington's recipe variation and it was fantastic! I had everything in my cupboard. I added raisins for some flair. Oh, and the vanilla ice cream on top made this dessert!

I have to make a dish for my husbands work potluck on this Friday... I have a the large industrial or commercial size canned peaches... So far this sounds like I can use and just maybe just use half of the can. And find another good recipes for the other half. Love the idea to soak them in bourbon... Maybe that will be on the half I have to keep for myself.. No alcohol for the guys at work.. Sorry. I will just keep the extra ingredients just in case I have to add. Wish me luck!!! Maybe a tipsy cake with peaches and other canned fruit I have in the cupboard.

I searched for a easy peach cobbler with canned peaches and this is the only one that came up that sounded good enough to try. The only things I changed was I added cinnamon and used extra peaches 2 small cans and a larger dish. I had to cook mine 15 minutes longer than recipe required. Dish was incredible and I will be making it again! Thanks!

Really, really easy. I opted to use baking Splenda instead of sugar and no sugar added peaches. Delicious. I also used an 8x8 pan.

Very easy recipe! Thought it a waste to not use the syrup and it needed a bit more Southern charm so made a few small changes (makes 2x as much); baked in 9x13 glass pan:

1 stick butter
2 c flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 (29 oz) cans peaches, drained
1 1/2 c peach syrup

Baked for 40 minutes at 350°F (same as original recipe)

I've made this cobbler 3 times and used a glass 8 x 8 pan and cooked it a little longer. I agree with the post below about pouring the batter then placing the coated peaches ontop!! Also, cooking it about 10 minutes longer. Vanilla ice cream is a MUST HAVE!

Hello I just took this out of the oven can't even wait till it cools down before having some. I wished I had soft vanilla ice cream for it. This is by far the easiest and best peach cobbler I've made so far I to sprinkled the brown sugar with cinnamon added the peaches to the batter popped it in the oven for about an hr. I then poured the rest of the juice on top and sprinkled more white sugar absolutely delicious... :))))) thank you for a wonderful classic recipe. I can't wait to make it for my mom. Oh how I wish I had soft vanilla ice cream on top LOL this one is amazing... thanks again
