CALIFORNIA SALAD 
8 c. head lettuce
8 c. Romaine lettuce
2 avocados
1 thin sliced red onion
4 oranges, sectioned and cut

TOPPING:

1/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. whole pecans

DRESSING:

2/3 c. oil
1/4 c. lime juice
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 tsp. grated lime peel
1 tsp. grated orange peel

Make salad from first 5 ingredients. Cook pecans and sugar in pan until pecans are sugary (toasted). Crumble and sprinkle on top of salad. Top with dressing just before serving.
