AUNT LUCY'S EASY LEMON PIE | |
9" pie crust 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk 3-4 lemons 3 eggs Cream of tartar 3-4 tbsp. sugar Set eggs out to room temperature. Brown one 9 inch pie shell in 350 degree oven. Empty can of sweetened condensed milk into mixing bowl. Add juice of lemons. Stir well. Pour into browned pie crust. Break egg whites into clean mixing bowl. Beat on medium-high with mixer until stiff peaks begin to form. Add dash of cream of tartar and sugar one at a time. Spread over pie evenly. Brown top at 450 degrees. Let cool slightly. |
