1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
2 can tomato sauce
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 sm. cream cheese
1/2 c. grated cheese
1 can button mushrooms, (optional)

Brown beef and pour off grease. Add tomato sauce, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Cook noodles and drain. Mix cream cheese and sour cream together. Grease a baking dish, put half of noodles in bottom of dish, pour over noodles meat mixture. Top with cream cheese, add remaining noodles, and top with grated cheese. Garnish with mushrooms. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Can be frozen before baking. Serves 6 to 8.
