ICE CREAM BARS | |
2 c. coarsely crushed corn flake cereal 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flake coconut 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/3 c. butter, melted 1/2 gallon vanilla brick ice cream Mix cereal, coconut, nuts, brown sugar and butter. Press 2/3 of the mixture (about 3 1/2 cups) in ungreased baking pan, 13"x9"x2". Slice ice cream; press on cereal layer. Sprinkle remaining cereal mixture on top. Cover and freeze until firm; at least 4 hours. Cut into bars, about 3"x2". 16 servings. |
