SUGARLESS APPLE PIE FOR
DIABETICS
 
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice, thawed
5-6 Jonathan apples, peeled & sliced
Pat-a-Pie Oil Pastry
2 tbsp. butter

In a saucepan, stir together flour, cinnamon and salt. Gradually stir in apple juice. Coat apple slices with the thickened juice. Fill pie shell with apple slices. Dot apples with butter. Bake in preheated 450 degree oven for 15 minutes, then lower heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes longer. (Artificial sweetener can be substituted.)
