SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
9 inch pastry shell
3 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 c. light corn syrup
Pecan halves or broken pieces

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat eggs, sugar, butter and syrup with hand beater until fairly smooth. stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake until set, about 40 to 50 minutes. Cool slightly before cutting. Serve warm or refrigerate.
