CARROT BAKE | |
6 med. fresh carrots, about 1 lb. 1 med. head cauliflower 1/4 c. butter 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg Grated Parmesan cheese Cut carrots into 2 x 1/4 inch strips. Separate cauliflower into flowerets. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Arrange carrots in ungreased baking dish, (8 x 12 x 2 inches). Layer cauliflower over carrots. Dot with butter and sprinkle with salt and nutmeg. Cover and bake until vegetables are tender, 50 to 55 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and garnish with parsley. |
