1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. dates or raisins
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 2/3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Pour hot water over nuts, raisins, and baking soda. Mix together mayonnaise, sugar, flour, and vanilla. Add to the first mixture and pour into a 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
