CRANBERRY TANGERINE/ORANGE
RELISH
 
12 ounces of fresh cranberries
2 tangerines or 3 oranges
1 lemon (optional - if not included, reduce sugar by 1/4 cup)
1 cup sugar
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

1. Wash the cranberries and remove stems. Put in a food processor.

2. Zest 1 tangerine or 1/2 the orange peels. Add zest to food processor.

3. Peel and section the tangerines (or oranges) and lemon removing fibers and pits. Chop coursely and add to food processor. Blend on "chop."

4. Add the sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Mix well, put in a pyrex bowl, cover, and refrigerate overnight.

Makes 12 servings.
