HOT DOG RELISH 
9 c. zucchini, chopped
2 med. green tomatoes, chopped
2 med. apples, chopped
4 sm. onions, peeled
4 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 c. sugar
1 pt. white vinegar

Prepare vegetables and apples and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients and bring to a boil in a large kettle. Add vegetables and fruit and simmer uncovered until thick, about 30 minutes. Stir frequently. Pack into hot sterilized pint glass jars and process in a boiling water bath for 20 minutes. Makes 4 pints.
