MINESTRONE SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. thyme
6 beef bouillon cubes
2 carrots, diced
1 qt. tomatoes, chopped
1 can kidney beans
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. parsley
6 c. water
2 stalks celery
2 potatoes, diced
1 can green beans
1 c. macaroni

Brown and drain beef. In 6 quart kettle put meat, garlic, onion, parsley, thyme, water, beef cubes, celery chopped, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes. Simmer covered 1 hour, then add beans and macaroni. Cook until macaroni is tender, 8-10 minutes. Serves 8.
