LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1/2 c. celery, diced
1 pkg. frozen English peas
2 c. mayonnaise plus 2 tbsp. sugar
1 sm. can Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. onions, diced
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
1/2 c. shredded cheese
2 eggs, boiled
Bacon bits

Tear lettuce in small pieces, place in 9 x 13 inch dish and layer as listed. Let set several hours or overnight. This salad will keep and stay fresh for several days.
