CORNBREAD SALAD 
1 pkg. Jiffy cornbread mix, baked
2 or 3 sm. yellow squash, chopped
3 c. chopped tomatoes
1 c. chopped green bell pepper
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. sweet pickle relish, strain & reserve liquid
1 lb. bacon, fried & crumbled
1 1/2 c. Miracle Whip

Bake and prepare Jiffy mix according to package directions. Cool and crumble. Chop all vegetables small. Mix Miracle Whip with pickle juice.

In a bowl layer as follows: 1/2 cornbread, on top of that 1/2 the vegetables then 1/2 the bacon, then 1/2 the Miracle Whip mixture. Then layer a second time in the same order. Cover with Saran Wrap and chill for 8 hours. The time in refrigerator is the secret to this wonderful salad. It's delicious!
