WONDERFUL INDIAN PUDDING 
3 c. scalded milk
4 tbsp. cornmeal
1/3 c. molasses
1/2 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter

Mix cornmeal and molasses and stir with milk. Cook and stir. Add sugar, egg, salt, seasoning to cornmeal mixture and remove from heat. Butter casserole, pour mixture into it and bake 1/2 hour at 300 degrees. Pour 1 cup milk over and bake for 2 1/2 hours at 275 degrees in water bath.
