SAND TARTS 
1 c. butter
4 tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. powdered sugar

Blend butter, sugar and flour until mixed. Add vanilla and chopped pecans. Roll in small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Gently roll in powdered sugar as soon as they come out of oven. Roll once more after they cool. Great for brunch or tea parties.
