MY BEST NUT BREAD 
1 env. yeast, dry
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
5 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. warm milk

Add yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar in 1/4 cup warm water. Heat milk until warm. Put warm milk in large mixing pot or bowl. Add butter, yeast, salt, sugar, vanilla, eggs, and mix together. Add rest of flour and mix with hands. Add more flour if needed, until dough comes off sides of bowl. Knead. Rub oil on bowl and dough. Keep warm.

FILLING:

1 1/2 c. nuts, ground
3/4 c. hot milk
1 1/4 c. sugar

Mix all ingredients. After dough raises, divide into 4 parts. Roll each portion out to 12 x 15 inch and spread with filling. Roll as jelly roll. Place in bread pans or on cookie sheet. Let rise until double in size. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
