DONUTS 
2 tbsp. yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 pt. mashed potatoes
2 c. lukewarm water
1 c. sugar
Salt
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. lard
12 c. flour

Mix all ingredients. Knead and let rise to double in size. Then roll out and cut with donut cutter. Let rise again and fry in shortening.
