RHUBARB STRUDEL | |
1/2 tsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. milk 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt Cream butter and sugar. Add 1 egg and 1 egg yolk. Add flour and salt. Mix in milk and vanilla. Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Beat egg white and spread over dough. FILLING: 5 c. cut up rhubarb 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello 2 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter Spread rhubarb over dough. Sprinkle Jello over rhubarb. Mix sugar, flour, and butter. Spread over top. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. |
