PUMPKIN CAKE SQUARES | |
BOTTOM LAYER: 1 pkg. yellow cake mix minus 1 c. for topping 1/2 c. butter, melted 1 egg FILLING; 1 (14 oz.) can pumpkin pie mix 2 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 2 eggs 3/4 c. milk TOPPING: 1 c. cake mix 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. butter Grease bottom of 13"x9" pan. Combine cake mix, minus 1 cup butter and egg. Press into bottom of pan. Prepare filling by combining all ingredients. Pour over crust. Fix topping and sprinkle over filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve with Cool Whip. |
