CLAMS ZUPPA OVER LINGUINE 
2 lbs. cherry stones
1/4 c. white wine
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. olive oil
3/4 lb. chopped clams
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Fresh basil
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. oregano
2 scallion stalks (chopped)
Grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. linguine
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Wash cherry stones well. Saute garlic and scallion in olive oil. Add basil, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper. Add wine, lemon juice, chopped clams and the clean cherry stones. Simmer. Boil linguine. Pour over linguine with grated cheese. Serve HOT. "Mouth watering." Serves 4.
