CANDIED PECANS | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. cold water 3/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 lb. pecans Combine first five ingredients. Simmer in skillet for 4 minutes or until mixture spins small thread from spoon. Remove from heat and stir in pecans. Continue stirring until syrup forms a sugar coating over the pecans. Gently separate nuts while cooking. |
