CHERRY COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cherry pie filling

Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy, add eggs 1 at a time. Add extracts. Add flour that has been sifted with baking soda and salt. Take out 1 cup dough, pour rest in 9 x 12 pan, spread pie filling on top over cherry filling drop dots of remaining dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
