PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE 
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 cream (you can substitute milk, but it's not as creamy)
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. peanut butter

Put sugar and cream in a fairly large pot. Bring them to a "rolling boil, " stirring frequently. Make sure not to scorch the bottom. Take from heat after reaching the "hard ball" stage. This is when you drop some of the mixture into some very cold water and can form a ball.

Add the butter, vanilla, and peanut butter. Hand mix until fudge stiffens (or your arm falls off) whichever comes first. Place mixture on a slightly buttered dish and chill until able to cut into pieces.
