MANDEL BREAD 
1 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract

Beat oil, eggs, sugar, and flavoring thoroughly. Then add dry ingredients, chill dough. Divide into 4 parts. Roll out into approximately 8 x 12 inch oval and spread with coarsely chopped walnuts and spread with jam. Roll up lengthwise. Place 2 rolls on each cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 25 to 30 minutes or until light brown and test done with toothpick. Cool 5 minutes and slice into 1 inch pieces leaving them on cookie sheet to completely cool.
