SWEDISH APPLE (CHERRY) PIE 
1 can apple (or cherry) pie filling or fresh apples

(If using fresh apples, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sugar.)

Put sliced apples in 9 inch pie pan. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon cinnamon over apples.

Mix in bowl:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. melted butter
1 egg
Pinch salt
1/2 c. walnuts (optional)

Pour mixture over apples. Bake 350 degrees 45 minutes or until golden brown.
