SPINACH - VEGETABLE DIP 
1 loaf pumpernickel bread, uncut
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
8 oz. mayonnaise
1 pkg. dried vegetable soup mix
1 can water chestnuts, chopped

Trim bread so that ends are narrow, resembling a football. Scoop out center of loaf. Reserve extra for dipping. Mix all remaining ingredients and place inside hollow loaf. Place loaf on platter and rip bread removed from center into small pieces and place around loaf. Serves 25.

Great for entertaining! Serve with fresh vegetables.
