1 1/2 c. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
6 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water

Mix dry ingredients together in 9"x9" ungreased pan. Make 3 wells; in 1 add a oil, to second add vinegar and to the third add vanilla. Pour water over the mixture and mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until done. For larger cake double ingredients and put in 9"x13" pan and bake 35 minutes or until done.
