MEATBALLS & CABBAGE 
1 onion, diced
2 to 2 1/2 lb. cabbage, cored & sliced
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 c. water
2 tbsp. sugar
Juice of 1 lemon

Mix the first 4 ingredients together. Add the next 2 ingredients and bring to a boil. 1 egg 1 tbsp. bread crumbs 3/4 can tomato sauce (sm. can) 2 tbsp. rice (uncooked)

Mix altogether in a bowl. Add to boiling cabbage mixture. Cook for 1 to 1/2 hours.
