1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Filling (recipe follows)
Red candied cherries, halved

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixer bowl, combine flour, butter and brown sugar. Blend on low speed about 2 to 3 minutes to form fine crumbs. Stir in nuts. Reserve 3/4 cup crumb mixture for topping; press remaining crumbs onto bottom of ungreased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Meanwhile, prepare Filling; spread over warm crust. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over top; garnish with cherry halves. Return to oven; bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool; cut into squares. Store, covered, in refrigerator.

1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

In small mixer bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add cocoa, milk, egg and vanilla; beat until smooth. Fold in cherries.
