BEEF KABOBS 
1/2 env. dry onion soup mix
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of hot pepper sauce or red perre seeds
Dash of bottled barbecue sauce
1/2 c. water

In saucepan, combine ingredients; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Cool. Add meat (and vegetables, if you want); toss to coat. Refrigerate overnight. Drain meat; reserve marinade. Thread meat, peppers, cherry tomatoes, onions and mushrooms on skewers. Broil over medium coals 20 to 25 minutes, turning over once and brush with marinade 2 or 3 times. Heat remaining marinade. Serves 4. Is very good with sirloin tip.
