CHOCOLATE MERINGUE PIE 
1/4 c. cocoa
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. boiling water
2 lg. eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 c. sweet milk (2% milk works ok)

Combine 1/4 cup cocoa, 2 tablespoons butter with 2 tablespoons boiling water to make thick paste. Add 1 cup sugar, mix thoroughly. Add 2 egg yolks and 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring and bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Beat egg whites very stiff and add 4 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat again stiff, spread on pie and brown in slow 150 degree oven.

This recipe can be doubled.
