PEACHES AND CREAM FRENCH TOAST 
3 eggs
3 tbsp. peach preserves
3/4 c. half and half
6 slices French bread, 1/2-inch thick
1/2 c. butter, softened (may use butter)
2 fresh peaches, sliced
Powdered sugar
Toasted almonds

In small bowl beat eggs and 3 tablespoons peach preserves with a fork to blend. Beat in half and half. Place single layer of bread slices in 11x7-inch baking dish. Pour egg mixture over bread; cover and refrigerate a few hours or overnight until most of the liquid is absorbed.

In small bowl beat 1/3 cup peach preserves and 4 tablespoons softened butter with mixer on high until fluffy. Set aside. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet. Brown bread slices over medium heat. Remove and keep warm. Serve topped with 1 tablespoon peach butter and peach slices. Sprinkle with toasted almonds and powdered sugar. Makes 4-6 servings.
