TURTLE CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix 1 stick melted butter 1 pkg. (14 oz.) caramels 1 can evaporated milk 1 c. chopped pecans 1 pkg. chocolate chips (6 oz.) Mix together cake mix, 3/4 cup evaporated milk and melted butter. Spread 1/2 of batter in a 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels with 1/4 cup evaporated milk. Pour over baked cake. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips. Cover with the rest of the cake batter. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Cut into small squares. |
