SESAME SEED COOKIES 
1/2 c. + 1 tbsp. soft butter
1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
Generous 2/3 c. cracked wheat
2/3 c. raisins
2/3 c. sesame seeds
3 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg

Brush a baking sheet with oil. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Stir in eggs. Combine cracked wheat, milk, raisins and sesame seeds; gradually stir into creamed mixture. Add flour and nutmeg. Stir well.

Using a teaspoon, place small amounts of mixture on oiled baking sheet; flatten the tops slightly. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on rack. With a spatula remove from baking sheet.
