PENNE WITH VODKA AND CREAM 
Make plain tomato sauce:

Olive oil to amply cover bottom of medium saucepan. Add 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes with salt and pepper. Cook 20-25 minutes. Cook 1/4 pound bacon. Drain and crumble. Add bacon to sauce with 1/3 cup vodka. Allow to cook down.

Add 1/2 cup cream. Cook just enough to blend cream and sauce. Serve over 1 pound Penne lines - pasta, 1/2 cup grated cheese to pass or add a few spoons to sauce.
