APPLESAUCE-NUT BREAD 
2 c. sugar
2 c. applesauce
2/3 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1 qt. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine first 5 ingredients. Beat 1 minute at medium. Combine next 6 ingredients. Add gradually to applesauce mixture and beat until smooth.

Stir in chopped nuts. Pour into greased and floured pans.

Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then remove.
